The Company of Myself

[caption id="attachment_158" align="aligncenter" width="476" caption="The Company of Myself"][/caption] Occasionally I write up a post, save it as a draft, and post it later. For example, my post about term papers was written about a month ago and then sat in my drafts folder until I was ready to start posting here again. Often I can get away with this, other times someone - Elise in this case - will catch me on it. Regardless, it's a good feature.

I tell you all of this so that I can explain the picture above. Well, no - I actually can't explain the picture above. It has been sitting in my drafts folder since May 26, 2010 waiting to be posted. No doubt, at the time I had some idea of a post that would accompany this picture, but I have long since forgotten what that was.

It's become a bit of a puzzle for me as I try and figure out what this post was supposed to be about. Part of me thinks it may have just been a short mention of how much I enjoyed playing The Company of Myself - which I did. But another part of me believes that I had a much bigger post in mind that would somehow tie in the concept of this game to make some sort of poorly-worded point. The game is actually quite sad, which is why I think there was a lot more to this post than a simple, "Go play this game!" That said, I have no desire to write sad posts so I won't attempt to figure out what this one was going to be about.

Either way, I needed to clear this post out of my drafts folder, so here you go.
